squeeky springs?

i have a 97 explorer awd v8. when my car begins to move, i hear a squeeky noise fromn the springs... i just got new shocks, nothing fancy, but if i still hear the noise... is there anything it could be aside from bad springs? could i raise or lower my x still even with normal shocks if i got new springs? let me know what u think. should i lower it or raise it if i can even? what else could it be? HELP... thanks guys...

Bushings....Bushings.......bushings this has been the general conception on the board do a search for things like creaking squeaking ect i know there are a few threads out there good luck
