I finally installed 30x10.5R15 tires on my '94 Sport. I put an add a leaf in the rear, and spacers under the front springs to get a little extra clearance with the larger tires. But since the lift the springs in the front seem to be grinding when ever compressed, and the back bushings squeek like a 20 year old truck. I sent the truck back to the installer about the springs and he said it was the metal fingers on the top spring mount which were bent and are now scraping on the spring coil. Why did he need to bend those fingers? They were the same springs. And what went wrong in the back? I'm at a loss.....

I had the same problem with my 98 XLT when I put my 31's on. The dealer replaced my rear leaf's and its gone, they were having some problems that made the Explorer creek at every speed bump.

PS
I would have gone with 31's!
