I am looking at some 33x12.50R15's of the SSR Series Super Swamper Radial/TSL. But it says on the "approved rim width" that they fit 8.5-11. So, now my question - will these not fit 8s? Cause as we all know, 15x8 is what we run on. Here is the information I got on the tires....

Ply Rating Load Range Rim Width O.D. Width
6 C 8.5-11 33.4 10.6

Thanks for the help.

They should fit fine on a 15x8.

What do you mean, 15x8 is what we run on?

Just everyone runs 15x8 wheels. You know.

Be sure that you have the lift for the tire. This tire spec's at 1/2 in. shorter than most manufacturers 35" meats. That's big!

If you don't believe me, key on my website link down below. I have an article on 'custom page (Buildup/Comments)' where I show how a 33" Interco TrXus is 2" taller than a 33" BFG All Terrain tire, and the BFG 33" AT is taller than the loaded 31" BFG AT/KO. Prepared your fenderwells for a tall tire!

On that website they also say the same size truxs mt is specified for a 8.5-11, but on the side of the tire it says "specified rim size 15x8" so I wouldn't be concerned at all. I have never had any trouble running 12.5 tires on 15x8 wheels.

Thank you everyone. Finally find some tires I wanted.

Had a friend with a 93 explorer on a 5.5 superlift and 33 TSL radials on 15x8 rims and the set up worked unbelievably well. Crazy ass never bought gears for it either.
