Posting here because the ST section has no activity.

I installed Rancho QL shocks and because they are designed for v6 explorers I had two negative affects.

1. Front didn't raise much because of heavy v8
2. Rear raised too much because of small/light truck bed

The front now has 3.5" of space between the tire and fender. The rear has 5" of space. 265/65/18 tires

Anyone have any ideas on how I could level out the vehicle? Best way? Cheapest way? Crazy ideas?

Buy a traxda kit and just use the front spacers ?

Would that put an extra stress on the ST by only having the front raised? I was actually thinking about cutting the rear springs slightly. What do you think about that?

The only thing it will stress is the front upper ball joints, but that happens anyway with spacer lifts. Might be worth trying to cut the rear springs a little to see how that works out, but I'm thinking you'll need to disassemble the rear strut assemblies to do it. Spring compressors are a must with that.
