Is it normal for the third-brake bulb to require replacement at around 40,000 miles?

Also, is it common for the front two bolts that connect the seat to the floor, on the front seats, normally rust under normal conditions?

Be careful, these truck do have rust issues, in some cases, location, storage and care is everything. In my experience of looking around if; the third brake light has any condensation that probably means the seal is cracked. Thus; water can seep in, major rust you can happen to cabin floor and walls. In one case the bottom was rusted out, yet the truck looked perfect. Very odd, I guess this is why they changed metal in some cases.
