I received my AAL today, then turned around and bought a Surco Roof rack along with the shovel/axe mounts and the light mounts, in addition to the Hi-lift jack. so what light do you guys think i should put up top, I also ordered some fog lights from germany, all this modding is stealing from my project stang, but at least it is going toward another ford.

Get the high lift mount for the roof, and put it up there. You could also put some gas cans up there like Digger....

I put 2 sets of PIAA 80XT's up on my rack. You can click on my signiture and take a look. I hear that IPF's are very good also.

yeah i got some gas cans up on the rack as well that are a nice touch. i also got a Hi-lift, shovel, tool box, 2 hella 500 light, and 2 reverse lights.

old pic. i have 2 gas tanks now on both side of the rack.

Hey I can tell where you ran the wires for the reverse lights, by hthe way are those just fog lights but do you have any pics of where you ran the wires for the fog lights?

Be careful with what lights you get. When I went to get my Recon, I had to pull my Hella's completely off my truck to pass.

Look for the SAE number on the lenses, if it doesn't have a SAE number, it won't pass.

the far wire going to the rear hatch is for all the lights. the one closest in the picture is for the CB.

the fog are Pilot fog lights form auto zone.

as for the picture of the wiring, i don't have a picture and don't unsterstand what ya want a pic of. i drilled a hole into the rear hatch on the inside and ran the wires through that then along the top on of the inside top molding and then through the firewall to the battery.

send me a e-mail on what ya want a pic of. i'll take a couple for ya. just tell me.

Here in Hawaii, we have yearly inspections, when your vehicle won't pass the standard inspection they send you to a state ran inspection site called RECON, short for reconstruction. Basically you can do anything to your truck...for a price. Everything that is on my truck was done in Florida. When I moved here I had to buy permits for everything, from my exhaust, wheels, tires, lights, you name it.

The SAE, is a number that is stamped in your headlights, fog lights any light that has met this standard has a SAE number, that is what the inspectors will look for here in Hawaii. I had to completely remove mine (Hella 500 driving lights) to pass inspection, they even opened my hood to make sure I had removed the wiring.

Yes, I put them back on after I passed...if you were wondering.
