Starter Relay...

Can someone please help me determine if a "Starter Solenoid Switch" and a "Starter Relay" are the same thing or not? One is easy to find and the other isn't. Thanks in advance...

the relay is upon the fender. the solenoid is on the starter. i know this is a little late but someone could use the info.
