Starter removal

So on my 95 XLT 4wd. I cant get that dang starter out. The bolts were simple but I cant figure out how to get it to drop out. Seems to get hung up on the diff housing, Any ideas how to get this thing out.

there are 2 bolts (upper and lower). once they're out there's nothing holding the starter in. it might be a snug fix and have gotten even snugger with dirt and corrosion. try smacking it with a hammer.
