Trying to figure what to look for in solving my running issues. I have a 2008 explorer with the 4.0 motor. Recently starting have weird issues where it starts and runs then after few minutes completely dies.

I took it to a shop and they told me it was a computer issue and was above there ability to repair and didn't really give me any answers just a towing bill.

Pull the DTC's (diagnostic trouble codes) and post back here what they are. I am wondering if it is possible that your fuel inertia switch is acting up. None the less, codes first and then go from there.
