Starting Problem - 1994 Explorer

Would not start on Tuesday,starter solenoid would just click. So I replaced starter solenoid. and worked fine till Saturday. Then solenoid started clicking again. Installed another new solenoid, but still wouldnt start. Installed a new battery and still the starter soleniod just clicks. Checked cables, and cables are fine.

How did you check the cables? Many people have a problem with them corroding inside the wrap. I get a clicking noise every so often and I know its because of the cables. I wiggle them and it usually starts.

Run a jumper from the battery directly to the solenoid on the starter. If the starter turns over, then you know its in the cables. Keep in mind that cables can corrode from the inside out, which means they could look fine, but be corroded.
