Okay, this isnt on my explorer, but on my girlfriends 94 camry. I figured you guys could help out. It seems when she leaves her car overnight or for a period of time... it wont start unless you give it gas. Whats wrong? I was think I read something about the fuel pump not priming... or something causing you to lose fuel pressure after you turn off the car... although I forget what makes you lose the pressure... am I on the right track here?

Nick, not too sure on the fuel pressure part, maybe a regulator problem, but it could also be an idle air thing. I had a very similiar problem w/my 95 Ranger. Not sure on the setup of a camry, but the cause was a bad IAC (Idle Air Control) solenoid. My truck would start fine when it was warm, but in the cold especially overnite I would have to give it lots of gas pedal to get her to start, then it wouldn't idle w/o giving it some gas untill it started to warm up...maybe look into that..hope this helps man!

cool. She took it to the dealer and they said nothing was wrong and wanted to charge her 75 bucks just for looking at it... Of course she threw a fit and kept it another day... now they say they think they might know whats wrong... lets see...
