If it works, it wont work as well or last as long as biting the bullet and doing the repair.

sounds like a product called liquid glass...suppose to seal up minor leaks in a head gasket but with like any other " hope in a bottle products " it may work for a short time but i would not take any long road trips with it .

if a gasket is bad then material is gone and by no means would i try anything like that ....my lower intake leaks coolant ,sure i could use barrs to seal the leak but i would rather take the time to do it right rather than hope it works and for how long ...big "if" with that thinking .....

Those "miracle in a bottle" products are good for only one thing: emergency repairs. They are great to get you going until a proper repair can be made but nothing beats doing it the right way.

yes I do agrea with all of you and i do plan on replacing my gaskets I was just curiouse

Stop leak of any kind is very, very, bad. It can/will start plugging up other areas of the system as well. EMERGENCY USE ONLY!

Any thing like that is "guaranteed" to stop the head gasket from leaking, will most likely do so, but not without consequences. When you put that stuff in, it stops all leaks. It doesn't know the difference between a leaky head gasket and a water jacket. So what will happen is that it will clog your water jackets in the engine, which will then cause your vehicle to overheat since it can't cool. The water jackets are what keeps water/coolant flowing through and around the block to keep it cool. If you clog even one of them, you are causing excess heat in one or more areas and thus creating more friction and are risking damaging your motor if not killing it.

mack truck sells stuff i think its called cermaic seal. i seen it used on a old rb mack at work where the side of the block was cracks an they poured it in the rad an a minuite later it stoped leaking. they told me its not like the bars stuff where it gums up the water passages in the motor.

x2...... if your really in need of sealing up say a radiator/coolant leak a couple of eggs in the system would be better than a chemical stop leak product ....mythbusters proved that on their show one time .
