Steering Wheel replacement question?

Does anyone know what year steering wheels are interchangeable for a 96 explorer? The 96 has a flimsy soft leather cover that is all wrinkled and actually worn almost through. I also have a 99 and the steering wheel on that one is thicker and has a firmer and stronger leather cover. My question is, will one from a 98-2000 fit? The airbags are the same as well as the cruise buttons, but will it mount up the same?

Yeah, it'll mount up the same. Get a new bolt though. I used the same bolt and the steering wheel is a little "loose".

Color is gonna be off a little bit too.
