Steering wheel shaking at higher speeds?

Recently got my 265/75/16s on and a buddy put them on for me.. But at around 50-75mph my steering wheel now shakes a little bit... Will this issue be solved if I get them balanced?

Yes it is more than likely a balance issue. Especially if you just mounted them on your factory wheels without re-balancing.

Sometimes you'll find that even new tires take a lot of weight to balance; usually the tire manufacturer specifies the max amount of weight they should take...beyond that amount they are considered defective and can be exchanged provided you don't have too much wear on them.
