Steering Wheel stereo Controls

Does anyone know if my 07 explore is wired for the steering wheel controls for the stereo so If I bought the peice online it would connect. Just curious. Would love that feature added to mine if possible. Also will the Automatic Climate Control module fit on one that has the three knobs.. I'm sure this has been asked before but I would really like to know. Thanks all...

Use the search functions this has been talked about a few times.

I believe you will need to replace the clockspring, get the switch panel, there may be additional wiring that needs to be done to get the signal to the radio then.

Thanks for the input. I search topics on this before but couldn't find anything about the 4th gen... So thats why I asked. It sounds like its do-able. Thanks again.
