Stereo stopped working?!?!?!?!?!??

I have a Panasonic radio and last week I turned it off because I was getting the wheels balanced and when I went to turn it back on it started to play but then the sound quites except for the sub still makes noise. I shut it off and tried it again but the same thing, it starts to play and then no sound except for the sub.
Anyone have any ideas of what it might be????????

Not sure, maybe the internal amplifier in the HU went bad. How old is the HU.

u might need to run new speaker leads to ur speakers.. Does the sub still play normally? if so, it could be your speaker leads in ur stock harness, or the whole harness itself.

I talked to my friend that has a stereo shop and he told me to disconnect the speaker wires from the HU and then one of a time plug them back in until I find the one that isn't working. He thinks it is a bad connection of a speaker that has a short in it. I don't know that much about speakers so I'll have to give it a try and see if that helps.
