Need help ASAP. I just had my tranny rebuilt and I am still blowing the 30 amp eec fuse that was blowing as a result of my tranny burning up. When the loom is disconnected from the tranny it starts up fine. When it is in it blows fuse right away. I found one spot where the wires burned together and fixed that. Any other ideas?

So when you hook up the tranny harness it blows? So you have a short to ground somewhere in the harness or tranny. Which connector are you talking about? See if you can isolate if the short is in the harness or if its inside the tranny.

The wires aren't supposed to burn together. Check for more damage. I have seen engine harness wires that were shorted together. I had to remove the entire engine harness to finally find the short. The fuse should have protected the wiring.
