Hey guys...here is what is happening..or not happening..I put mt 1993 Explorer into 4x4...it engages...so it seems...I put in in 4low and the truck was crawling, so I know, at least I think, that it is in 4low, but I turned into my driveway...get stuck..the back end slides to the left when I try and go forward...lol..the truck is still stuck at the bottom of my driveway..

Could be that the front hubs arent working properly.

That'd be my guess because if it's crawling then your probably in 4low.

...do you have auto hubs or manual hubs???...

Then that would deff. be my first guess. 91-94 Explorer autohubs weren't all that great for dependability (my opinion and others on this board)

Yes more than likely and to save yourself money now and in the long run your better to go with Manual WARN lockouts with a conversion kit, unless you like the convenience of the autohubs and aren't looking for alot of strength for the hubs, but eventually someday in the future they'll need replacing again.

If there would be snow on the ground wouldnt hurt to leave manual's locked in position so you could just push your 4X4 button and be in 4X4 without having to stop and get out to lock them in position. I usually do this when I know there maybe snow drifts.
