still idleing fast

I have a 92' ford explorer
and it is idleing fast 1200 rpms
help!!

Try disconnecting the battery cable (neg) for 5-10 minutes. then reconnect and start the truck... and allow it to idle for 3 minutes or so...this should reset the computer.

tps needs replaced, check for code 63, could be the bypass valve needs cleaning also. Do a search- this topic comes up frequently

youre lucky, mine idles around 500 and pings!

Check your vacuum hoses. If you have just changed air filters, check the ones that hook up on your air box. I have heard that this can cause high idle speed.
