Still stumped on tranny???

So my 01 Explorer XLT has the 4R55E i believe correct me if im wrong. But it really likes to hangup on shifts between 2nd and 3rd and now severly between 4th and O/D if u really step on it it just pauses at a certain RPM and wont rev and higher And then decides to slowly creep up to the point where it has to shift but Struggles alot. Also the other night between 4th and Overdrive It paused then reved up all the way to 6K rpm before it shifted??? EPC Solonoid valve body????

I'm sorry, I'm not a transmission expert. Some of these transmissions have a very correctible issue with a leaking valve (perhaps this is what you were asking about when you wrote "EPC Solonoid valve body????"). If it were mine, I'd take it to my local transmission shop that I know and trust. Let them run some diagnostics and change the fluid along with checking out the valve issue. I have heard of some owners putting a "shift kit" in along with the valve replacement.
