Should be 130 amps if you have the towing package. Without, I believe it's 105 amps.

On an 02 its 130 tow or no tow

Don't know how many amps, 130 sounds probable. Doesn't matter if it has tow package or not though, unless Ford switched something very recently.

where could i found out? would it say in the manual of my car? or maybe on the actual alternator?

Keep waiting for someone here to answer. One of the stereo guys probably knows for sure. You could also call your local Ford dealer parts department. They can get the answer if they are nice guys. Stereo installers are likely just guessing, very hard to measure directly and not likely printed on the alternator. It may be listed in the owners manual under specifications but mine is not.
