The guy we bought my '97 Ford XLT from decided he was going to remove most of the removable stock parts. Aside from the ash tray and fuse box cover, he took the CD Magazine out of the CD Changer in the center console.

Question is, what brand is this CD Changer in my center console? There's no brand name or product number visible anywhere on the unit. And would a new magazine be compatible with the stock changer?

I'd rather not install a new head unit and CD changer considering it's a missing piece and not a broken component. Any help would be very much appreciated. :D

We have a '97 XLT with CD magazine in the center console. Don't know if it's the brand name or a generic description but it says "compact disc digital audio."
Hope that helps.

He hasn't been back in 3 years and this is his only post, I don't think he cared enough....
