Stock fog lights install as daytime runners??

So I recently had to go buy a new bumper for 98 XLT in the aftermath of Wendy the Exploding Explorer vs. Texas Bar Ditch. The new bumper I got is plastic w/ chrome inserts and oval fog lights. My Ex. didn't come with fog lights and it had the earlier 2nd gen. steel bumper. I do have the switch and the wiring for the switch, but thats it. I cannot figure out how to wire in the fog lights and if I can, I kinda want them to take place of my daytime runners. How would I do this??

Cant help you on the use of the factory switch as a DRL.
I would suggest just getting some Hellas that fit the openings and use them as fogs. You will be happy with the extra light.
