1999 Explorer Sport
Hi, I drive a beautiful black '99 Explorer Sport and I've been looking to replace those ugly yellowish stock fogs to match the Piaa xenon bulbs (hid lookalikes) that I've already installed in the headlamp sockets. The owner's manual lists the fog bulbs as a size "899" and unfortunately, I've been unable to locate any replacement bulbs for that size. Does anyone know if 899 corresponds to say H-3 or something like that? If not, I'd appreciate it if someone knows where to buy replacement bulbs for the fogs and could forward me that information.
Thanks again,
Marc Everett

go to autostock inc. http://www.autostock.com/ or their other website: http://www.xenonlightbulbs.com/. After checking out other auto stores I found other bulbs that fit. Auto stock has 899's w/ the blueish/rainbow tint to look like super whites. I've found that 885's are a good replacement. They're higher wattage, and no shielding on the tip. Put a lot more light on the road. Autostock told me that they'd have 889 and 885 super white versions some time soon. Good luck,
