Stock gearing

Ok, this has probably been gone over before but i'm search impaired on this topic since it should be easy to answer. How do i tell what axle gearing i have?? Would it be in the vin. no. i cant remember what all the vin. has in it. I would really like to know this since i'll soon be upgrading tires hopefully. Thank you.


P.S. Its a 91 explorer sport 4x4 5sp manual and manual t-case. Thnx.

Search, that info is posted all over.
There's a sticker on the door that has an axle code. Get that then look up here what that code means. You can also check on the tag attached to the rear diff cover.
