Just wondering right now I have a magnaflow 14" muffler and was wondering is there really any performance gain with just a muffler. Because I find it really loud an would like to change back to stock. And also how loud do you think a dynomax super turbo 20" would be. Thanks

I have noticed that you have multiple threads about your muffler. Getting a longer one will quiet it down. How much? I don't know. I mentioned before that I have a 70 series flowmaster and I think it's perfect for quietness but just loud enough to hear. I believe it's roughly 20-22"s long. If you hate what you have right now, just put the stocker back on until you get what you want.

hey man i have not tried the magnaflow but with a 14 there wont be much air resistance so there should be a considerable gain or at least noticeable. If you dont already throw a new air filter combo on it i did my intake and in combination with my flowmaster super40 series it was very noticable and i love the fact ppl can hear me coming :) whether you want that or not. but yes i found a noticible gain with just the muffler but in unisine works like a charm. Faster air out = should bring it in faster (intake)

I had custom exhaust built, and really didn't notice any difference SOTP. I think with an intake, tune and exhaust you would probably only pick up 20 true ponies and that will hardly be noticable.
