For those of you looking for the easiest route to go with straight axle conversions, Jeff's Bronco Graveyard has it. They show on their website a straight axle conversion kit (you supply the axle) for $1800. You use a Dana 44 from a coil sprung Ford. You can even use a Dana 60 with a bit of modification. Looks like I know at least one Explorer that's going to get an 8" straight axle conversion/lift. Should be able to run those 35's with no problem then. Now if I can just talk that guy out of his Cobra engine, I'd have it made. Oh well.

Scouts motorsports is in the process of designing a kit that will cost less and include more. Sorry but 1800 for that kit is outragous. for their price you can buy all the tools needed to fabricate the lift yourself

Where can I get info on the Scouts Motorsports kit?
