strange photoshop request

well, i'm thinking that i'm going to run my current tires as long as i can into the summer. then i will do the shackle lift and just put 31s on my 17s. thanks, that picture gave me a pretty good idea of how it would look. it would only look better if the tires filled up the holes, and i don't think the air dam makes it look stupid at all. i will post a poll in a little while. as for the shackles, i don't need them yet. since i want to get as much out of my current tires as i can before i do anything more. this may not get done until the middle of the summer (hopefully).

also if anyone has time try to put some 31s under there too. just so i can get a little better idea of how it would look complete.

Yeah I think putting on some 31's would be best so then you don;t have to worry about switching between them. look at my truck for an idea of that 31's look like. i have 16" rims. there are tires available in the 275/60R17 size. I am not sure if 275 is too wide, but I think they would look nice!

another thing is that in this day and age 17s no longer look that cool. when i got them two years ago in my small town they looked huge, but now they don't look like much imo. but expensive fing kmc's would look pretty damn cool on a lifted truck with 31s. also i think my sport truck look would be really cool up there a little. my truck kind of captures the style of the lifted SEMA entrants from recent years. they seem to be going with the same theme a little. the lift would keep me current witht he latest styles. who knows, a year from now i may be way up there.

as for the hyd's or air bags- money would be a concern at that point. what i meant was that the minimal cost of shackles and two alignments a year wasn't a reason not to do something, not that i had all the money in the world to burn. if i had all the money in the world i would drive a g500 mercedes and a z8 not an explorer

Expo, have you thought about puttin the 31's on your stock rims and changin them out during the winter? cause in MN winters arent going to be that friendly with your 17" KMC's.

yes i've thought of that one too. when i wintered there last year i removed my rims for the winter. if i did that then i would buy street performance tires soon for my 17s. how much would i have to pay for 31s that would fit on my stock rims, just for winter driving.

that also raises the option of getting 31s for my 17s, and 31s for the winter on my stock rims then doing the torsion twist and leaving it up there all the time. there are just too many damn choices.

also is it likely that i can fit a 31.7 inch tire with a torsion twist? with no rubbin'
