strange sound front wheel

she is running well but there is a strange sound coming from the front left wheel..... almost like something is rubbing on something or something is Warped and when it goes round it is scraping on it…. I cant explain it any ideas? i dont think its the brakes...... oh man you need to be here to hear it.... its when you get to about 35 MPH...

Sounds almost like a wheel bearing is going bad. Get your bearings checked out somewhere. Especially with that many miles.
 






GF's '96 XLT had the same problem at 73K miles. I believe hers was the hub/spindle assembly or the wheel bearings. Her dad had the work done, and I got the info from her so I never got the exact part that was replaced... "a part of the wheel thingy" is what was told to me ;)

The hub/spindle and bearings are one piece on 4x4's. You're not supposed to be able to dismantle it because the ABS sensor is a part of it too.
 






lame as it sounds make sure the dust shield isnt rubbing the rotor.
