Hello everyone,
Recently i've had some interesting problems with my transmisson. Most people will agree that after a while, everyone gets to know their car, you get to know how the car feels, the shift points, etc. About 2/3 weeks ago, my car started to act up, my car wasn't shifting in the same spots, accleation was lagging and the car just felt wierd. Being that i am super paranoid about my sport, i just though it was my imagination. At the beginning of this week i got on the highway when i was going to school and and the tach was reading 2500 RPM at 65 MPH. Usually at 65 MPH the car runs about 1000 RPM. I pushed the overdrive button and the RPM jumped up so i turned it off and it jumped back down... There are two things that might have caused this: A friend and i installed a Pushbar and two KCs a couple of months ago, we routed the wires for the switch throught the seal that the Transmission shifter cable (I think...) goes through and by doing this, had to unseat the seal. The other thing, which is the more likley of the two, is that one night before i came home, i did some "Preformance Explorer driving" in the backroads behind my neighborhood. I really dont think that it was enough to mess up anything... I have an 03 Explorer sport, auto transmission, bone stock minus the lights and pushbar, with 24,000 miles and I bought it new. Im really not that much of an aggressive driver... I'm gonna take it into the dealership in the next few days so i hope i can get some insight to what might be wrong with my car before i take it in... Thanks in advance!

P.S. Can the pushbar and the lights void the warranty in any way?
