I know that this is probably old news...and for that I appologize. But, has anyone installed a Ranger Street Scene rear rollpan on for instance a '99 Exp SPORT? With a little massaging, can it work?
Thanks:salute:

show your friend how i did mine. unless he has a English wheel, he will be pulling his hair out trying to form it. not tying to sound like a ass, but sheet metal will give no protection if your rear ended, or back into something by accident.

Yea man avoid sheet metal, someone could bump a cart into it and destroy it

Yeah...I remember seeing Brad's a while back. Very cool, but I have NO patience!
Looking for the easier way out.
Thanks guys.

That's why you install a CUSTOM hidden hitch, and hide it behind a flip up plate....

You CAN NOT make a bolt on rollpan for the Explorer. There will ALWAYS be some cutting of the frame...There is NO WAY AROUND IT.

lots of cutting! that was the biggest thing i hated about doing mine. not a big fan of hacking a frame up, even if it was as little as i had to take off.

it will be bolted to the frame and ran to the pan the inner part of the pan is going to be inforced by steel bars running thru it once we get started ill get pictures of the progress and keep ya updated. right now only thing has been cut has been the ends of the frame where the bumper was and the rounded part where the spare is/was.

This one is going to be a slow process and it is a low budget build we both work odd hours and live 30+ miles apart.

You have to cut the frame rails just about flush with the spare tire cage....

You will have to cut some type of slot or hole for your brackets to bolt the frame.

But at the end of the day, it is less work to just weld one on....and that is what MOST people will do.
