Stripped spark plug threads

So it seems to me that when I last changed my plugs I striped the threads on my number 6. (no thanks to whoever changed them before me,no anti seize or anything) Any ways Instead of replacing the whole cylinder head I've heard that you can re thread that cylindader. Has anyone tried this and had luck with it, or can point me in the right direction on to where to get the kit to do this.
