I changed my spark plugs yesterday, and the threads of 3 of them were covered in motor oil....not the electrode, just the threads. The threads on the others I took out were squeaky dry. Why is this? I've never seen this before and it makes me a little nervous.

Check the valve cover gasket on that side!

OK will do. Thanks.

posible some one spilled oil during oil change is it on the oil cap side of the engine

No, that's what concerns me. It's from the inside.

only thing that can leak oil onto the plugs would be valve stem seals.

Valve stem seals! That a pretty good one, I have to use it.
