Ok guys look for another piece of advice. My 92 ex with the manual has been breaking up when i shift and let he clutch out when i first start driving. It happens in every gear for the first 2 minutes of actual driving. Ive done plugs and wire that helped bring back some power but still breaks up. It will run perfect after driving for a few minutes.

I know i have an exhaust leak in the y-pipe before the o2 sensor but its a pinhole.

Sorry but I don't understand the term 'breaking up', perhaps others do... Something that gets better after a few minutes of driving would seem to be temperature related. Have you checked for any codes?

Breaking up as in sputtering trying to stay running. I'm going to try to pull codes tomorrow but i've had no check engine lights.

I forgot to add an important detail every once and a while it will stall when leaving from 1st and takes a solid 1-2 minutes to restart almost like its not getting fuel. perhaps its time to change the filter as i dont know the last time it was changed or if at all.

Do ALL the basics first. New fuel filter, air filter, clean the MAF and IAC. Test the coils, and fuel pressure.

^This.
Only after doing the above, would I begin to even think about clutch.

Runs poor when cold. = ECT

Runs good cold but not hot, also = ECT

It's the pointy one behind the t-stat housing. The one in the housing is for the gauge..

And do all the above mentioned routine maintenance.

I didn't get a chance to read codes cause of a brake job nightmare in my wife's car.

I change the clutch flywheel and slave last month so i don't think there's an issue there. also i have replaced the air filter and cleaned the maf so ill clean the iac, put a new fuel filter and ect sensor and take it from there.

Hijacking my own thread a bit but today when going around a corner i hit a bump and the car started pulling right very hard. once i hit another bump it straightened back out.I just replaced the whole steering and sway bar bushings. anyone have a clue?

Air in the power steering. I use a syringe to suck the old stuff out. The manual specs type F ATF, but Mercon works too. Then turn the wheels lock to lock a few times to bleed the system.

Sorry to anyone following this. I injured my foot that kind put stuff on hold. Ill update when i can.
