I know it's wierd, everyone I have asked say that my ex is running normal, the thought of 4.10's in my ex is scary, but now you have me worried so it's off to the tranny shop, it's bothered me for awhile anyway, maybe that's my code problem.

Sorry, I didn't mean to get you too worried. I just know that my mom's Ex has a higher gearing than I do (3.55's or 3.27's) and I only turn about 2500 at 80 in her's. I don't usually cruise below 75 so I can't remember what my Ex turns at that speed.
Good luck at the trans shop. I hope I didn't bring up any unwarranted worries for you. Just saying what I know.

I did some searching on that modulator thingy... But I'm pressed for time at the moment.. can anyone tell me if they're easy to change, or they a pita, and should just let the shop handle it? If I had more time, i'd search, except i got 2 midterms tomorrow so studying comes first over searching

My truck did the bogging thing and CEL after 2 hours driving on the highway...and then eventually it got to where it did it on shorter drives...
Anyway, the problem was bad O2 sensors. Replaced both and it's fine now. It may be a bad cat but not in my case and your situation sounds the same...
