stupid Equalizer ?

I just replaced my pioneer deh-9600mp head unit with an avic-d1 being that the 9600 has a built in 13 band eq the d1 sounds like sh*t so I was looking at equalizers but all that ive looked at only have one input and three outputs front rear and sub am I missing something here shouldn't it be 3 in 3 out am I looking at the wrong type of equalizers can some please explain how this eq thing would work

My pioneer has two in and five out.
( in left / right. Out Front left / right, rear left / right, and sub out )

It is a pretty old EQ, I dont even know if they make it any more.

i'm looking for something just like that who makes it you would think for 1200 bucks the thing would at least have an eq built in the thing

same problem with the clarion screen i purchased. no eq... for that much money how could it not have one!? it even claimed to have one on the website. but what it didn't say is it is a seperate item u must buy with it had the deh 9600 pioneer before and the difference in sound qaulity was drastic. i returned the clarion (defective on top of everything else) which was poor qaulity all around imo. and went with one i knew for sure had one built into it. puts that clarion to shame. for the kind of money it is to buy a indash screen u really would think they'd have an eq with it.

i was looking at pioneer eq they only make two and the cheapest one was like 5 hundred bucks just ordered i kicker 9 band eq should have next week let you know if it helps

i used to have an alpine ere-g180 and i loved it, and u can find them on ebay for around 130$. im gonna get another one and would highly recommend it.
