It shouldnt...ive had my battery disconnected for hours at a time while working on my car i plug it back up and it starts right up...plus the con of a feature like that is what happens when you have to get a new battery? lol

And always remember its the question you never bother to ask that are the stupid questions.

Never had an issue with that, Jordan...

ok thx i didnt think it would just checking cause you never know

Wouldn't it be better to run the boat in water? :P

Believe it or not, it's better to examine a boat on land prior to putting it in the water.

On land you can get a good look at the hull, stern drive, props, check for leaks, condition of bottom paint, trim tab operation, etc.

Then you get it IN water to examine bilge pump functionality, cruising, self-bailing (if applicable), etc.

Although, I'm rather OCD about stuff like that.

Just to be sure, you could do what many mechanics do when they pull a car in the shop: Leave at least one window open.

They sell a a computer memory saver that's battery powered. It saves computer & radio settings.

"Settings" being User Determined, like pedal height, seat memory location, etc?
