I've looked around and can't find any reference to a styrofoam noise that sounds like its coming from somewhere around the liftgate area, intermittently, but most notably over bumps/rougher terrain.

Anybody have any problems with this personally and/or any solutions?

*Here's to hoping*

Are you sure it isn't the spare tire rubbing against the pan? That could make a sound if the spare wasn't cinched down tight.

Hmmmm, it could be, I'll have to check it out tonight.

It's the latch for the either the liftgate or the window hatch. Grease up the latches and the noise will disappear. I used a Teflon lube called "magic lube" from home depot and it has been perfect. No more noise like rubbing 2 pieces of Styrofoam together. And it only happened when the road was rough or going over bumps, causing the latches to slide and rub.

Thank you so much! I thought it was the latches too, but didn't know what to do. Picking up the grease today!

If you do get the magic lube stuff, hang on to it because it is fantastic for any poly surfaces and works well in heat. I started using it years ago on my pool filter and pump for all the orings and valves. I used it when I replaced the sway bar bushings and it's as quiet as its ever been. Since its Teflon, its safe for the bushings etc....

Good luck!

Looks like I am going to have to wait a bit. Online it says it's not available at any Home Depot within 100 miles and I can't find it at any other place locally.
