I'm installing 4 - 15's and 1 - 18 in my '93 XSport. I'm looking for unique box designs that I can build to make my system look good and maximize their performance. Any ideas would be great. Or any web sites that have this kind of thing. Oh...the subs are run by a 900 watt and a 1200 watt amp. Thanks.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.... 4 15"s and 1 18"?? How are you planning on fitting all of that in a Sport? I can think of ways of positioning them, but getting a box big enough with enough internal volume is just mind boggling. Do you plan on taking out the back seats or what? I have 3 12"s and that takes up almost all of the cargo space. I have seen Sports with 4 15"s and they have no room left over at all.

To be honest with you I wouldn't put in 2 different size of subs. What brand to you plan on putting in there? Also...the idea of putting the 2 different size amps on the subs is not that great...unless you have the 1200watt amp to the 4 15s and the 900 watt amp to the 18. Thats just my 2 cents. But if you really want this are you planning on keeping the back seats? If so then you are probably going to need to point your box up or angle it backwards. As for unique box designs pointing the subs in each direction has always been a design that has caught my eye because requires some careful calculating/cutting and fiberglass work. I think what would look best for you would be putting the 18 in the middle of the 15s. But when looking for unique designs it usually requires lots and lots of calculating...not just of wood but of volumes. Also...I hope that you aren't wanting ported box because that would be an insanely hard box to make.
