Looks good, how's it sound?

Sounds great for being on my little MA amp. lol. As soon as my JL 1000/1 comes in it will slam like crazy. lol

Doesn't look like much port area.

It's deep, I'll post the specs for you when I find the paper I was writing on, I jsut decided to go for 4 times the recommended box siz, then got the porting out of the JL porting binder.

I love that binder. Do they still use the little  faces?

Just wondering....port depth has nothing to do with port area.

What are the specs of that box...size?? tuning??

looks nicely constructed though. Get some vids up

Still trying to find the paper, it's got 50.6 sq inches of port area. The box itself is about 6.5 cubic feet (I think I said 7 cubic feet some where else, so that's an edit). I didn't throw it into bass box pro or anything, I just decided to build it.

Found it...

Dimensions are (while building I changed a few things, so I'll remeasure it when I get a chance):

Box:
Internally:
48.5 x 11.5 x 19
Externally:
50 x 13 x 22.5

Port:
Internal:
40 x 1.26 x 15.7
Plus there's a lot of dead air underneath the port, I didn't need all the space between the wheel wells, so the bottom of the port is the floor, but like 5 inches up from the floor of my truck (I'm sure that makes no sence, I'll take a pic to show you what I mean)

And it has 3 braces, one between each sub front to back 1.5 x 1.5 x 19 so minus like .6 cubic inches or so off the final box volume.

I'll get vids as soon as my gf brings the camera back from her parents house.

Oh yeah, I fcovered the back today in eDead, that stuffs the **** for being so cheap. Thinner than most others and works awesomely! Put about 45 sq feet in the cargo area today, hatch has already been done.

Nice...You shouldn't have any problems with port noise...How's it sound???

Speaking of eDead I really need to get some...My hatch rattles like crazy

Sounds awesome! Yeah, I don't have any port noise, atleast none I can hear, even when I'm back there. Ever used eDead? Awesome stuff fot such a cheap price, soem people say they don't like it, but I love the stuff.

I used a metric ****ton of eDead in my Mustang. I only used about 40sq in my wife's Jetta. So far, none in the ST, but the only thing installed in it is the Kenwood so far. Weather finally got warm enough to go outside, and we have flooding. I can't win.

I know how you feel. The snow finally stopped coming and then it got warm, so I said on my next day off i will sound deaden. Then on my day off, it snows, so finally it worked out for me this week and I got it done.
