did you plug in the rca wires? speaker wire from the amp to the subs?

yea i hooked them up, and even tried a spare set that i had laying around, its weird everythigns plugged in but its just not working, i dont understand it. Everythignw as fine, i shut my car off one day adn when i turns it back on it didnt work. I used a test light on the ground, power, and REM, theyre all hooked up properly, the green led light is on, i dont get it.

how are the subs hooked up? what ohm load? what brand amp? what model of subs? dual 4 ohm? 2 ohm? single 4 ohm? 2 ohm? parallel? series? if it was working one day and not the next, then worst case scenario...you had em wired to too low of an ohm load and damaged the output part of the amp.

what kind of radio are you running? does it have sub-control that you need to ruen on?

take a multi-meter and test the impedence of the subs at the wires at the amp (each one seperately, and unpluged from the amp). they should measure either 4ohm or 9ohm (give or take a little)

If you've got a cord that goes from RCA to male headphone jack you can plug a iPod or walkman or whatever into your amp. You can get one of these at radio shack for less than $5. I've used it to plug my iPod into my surround sound, but it came in handy for troubleshooting an install one time. That should tell you if it's a problem with your head unit/maybe a short in RCA cables.
