Subs in rear hatch ?

Has anyone ever tried or done this . I am looking to save as much space as I can while incorporating some bass into my X . Been trying to think about some options on subwoofer placement . Anyone with stealth systems or in the same boat as me with any ideas feel free to throqw some ideas !

Lots of members on here built stealth boxes that fit in behind the passenger panel in the rear (where the pocket is). Do a search for "stealth box."

some peopel have thoguht about the hatch idea, its very impractical because of the insdie hatch structure and it would sound like crap due to the acoustics of the plastic of the rear hatch

I thought about the hatch, then realized it's just not practical. Think of having the hatch open and all that weight above you, plus the pain of dealing with acoustics. Stealthbox is the way to go...I love mine, was just thinking that last night as a matter of fact.
