Subs under rear seat

Does anyone know if it is possible to install subs under the rear seat of a 1st gen 4 door and still allow the seats to fold down. I would like to install 2 10s there but I could settle for 8s. I don't want to install in the cargo area because I need as much room back there as possible.

I don't think there's enough room at all, even if you went with 6" subs. If your looking for space saving sound reinforcement, I suggest building an enclosure in the "cubby" in the passenger side rear. I built a box that fit snugly in there with a cheap MTX 10". with that and only 200W it sounds really good. It replaced a bandpass 2x12 enclosure from Dual and I think it sounds better. doesn't kick quite as hard though
