Hey all, this summer I am starting a custom sub box company, I will be doing lots of work with plexiglass, MDF, and possibly carbon fibre. Boxes will range from sealed to ported, to slot ported to... you get the idea. Anyhow I just want to know what kind of interest there is here for them. They will be very competitively priced- like 40 bucks for a ported box with plexiglass. Prices are not totally set yet, but I can custom make anything. Let me know who is interested, and if I should start it up.

Will you be doing custom fiberglass boxes that go under the rear interior panel, and if so, what kind of air space?

yes likely, custom air spaces. minimum of 1 cubic foot. might also do false floors that hide everything, and are level with the seats when the mid 2 are folded down.

I'm still trying to decide if i want to learn how to do fiberglass myself this summer and build a box that goes under the panel back there. I'll keep this post around and get back to you later on this summer... maybe I could use you. Good luck with the business.

I would definitely be interested.

cool. I have a picture of one prefab sealed box if anyone wants to see it let me know. it is a bit radical.

ah- hmmm ok I was just trying to find the pictures- they are on disk. I left the disk at work (school lol) so I will post em tomorrow.

no problem, I will E-mail the pictures to you gus as soon as I can get them- so like tomorrow :) ummm have a plexiglass box to show ya- it is a home audio box I made, but I can do basically any sub box for cars or trucks ported or sealed like it.
