Can I just get 1 enclosed 8" Subwoofer and have along of pounding bass? If so, how would I wire it in?

You probably won't get "pounding" bass, but it will definitely be better than stock. I have a Kicker Substation 80 (8" tube, basically) with a cheaper amp (60w bridged) that I used in my Explorer, and it sounds better than the 6.5 sub and definitely moves more air, but it doesn't pound. When I had my Kicker setup in my Camaro with a 12" sub and 150w of Kicker amp to back it up, now that pounded!!!

As for wiring it in, that depends on what you have in your vehicle now. Give us some more details about your current setup and someone will help you get the bass you want.

If your looking for something that pounds your talking about 400 watts of real power and at least 1 12 or 2 10's. A 8 will sound good but its not going to be anything that gets any attention. It will sound pretty much like stock on the outside. If you want more infor E-mail me.

I have a 150W Kenwood amp driving a 10" Kicker in a closed box. Depending on where I have the gain set on my amp, I can get some nice sound that anchors my music, or, some thumping that can rattle the windows of the car next to me.
