Well, well, well. What do you know. I replaced the thermostat and all is well. I can't thank you guys enough for all the info and help you provided. Saved me a ton from the dealership ripping I would have recieved.
Those guys are rip-off artists. Since I had to remove the throttle body and air filter assembly to get access to the thermostat housing, I decided to clean the TB while it was out. Well I had it at the dealer 2 months ago for a tune up and they billed me for a TB cleaning along with the rest of the tune up. Well if that guy cleaned the TB, then I am a goat. That thing was filthy I could scrape the crap off it and it came off in chunks. Some as thick as a millimeter. I can't see it getting that dirty in 2 months.
