Sudden violent shake at 65mph

air in the PS system can cause something like that?, it was like hitting a hundred of those little highway reflectors all in a row, machine-gun like..

Yes it can. Happened to me many times.
 






well, here's what i came up with,

The shocks were gone, so after I changed them, rotated the tires, noticed severe cupping, apparantly due to the worn out shocks,.the tires sounded like mud tires after rotating them but the shake was gone. Today I put a new set of 4 tires on the X, much improved. no shake rattle or roll.

suppose that's what it must have been, just a set of circumstances that set the whole thing in motion. Thank goodness it stopped. well, spending $800 to get it stopped I should say.

I did!! Well I see that I said driveline throwing a weight, I kinda meant wheel...
