Hi guys havent posted in a while,life has thrown a few curve balls at me lately.Anyway things are looking up so time to get back to work on my ex.So i need to replace my coils and cant find any that are ex 5.0 specific.Any suggestions? I am also looking to upgrade my exhaust but not sure with what. I want a nice aggresive rumble. Suggestions? I also want to do something with my air cleaner setup.One more question,i have a set of off road lights i want to mount out front but cant find a pre runner type bar for the ex. I believe i read a while back someone saying that one for certain year rangers will work. Is this correct? I know this is a lot of questions and i appoligize for that but im trying to get the best info from the best site and the best guys to make a shopping list.

For exhaust, I love my Flowmaster. I have a 70 series, and it sounds like you want louder, so the 40 would porbably be good for you. Would make the 5.0 sound mean.

Thanks for the reply dude. Yea i want it to sound mean. I love the way you have your truck setup. I remember seeing pics of it before and admireing it. If you dont mind me asking where did you get that hood scoop i love it! I assume your running 33x12.50s?

Thanks for the compliments. Yes, I'm running 33x12.50s. The hood scoop is from ExplorerExpress.com. A bit pricey, but well worth it, IMO.

BTW, for your prerunner bar, you might wanna shoot a note to member joshuaj0214 oh here. He was running a Toyota bar on the bumper of his X for a while. Might still have it. Looked good.

Yea i agree with you on the scoopit really sets your ex off.I will try to hit him up about the bar i have had my lights for over a year just sitting it would be nice to mount them up.
