I live in Reno NV and i am like 10 min away from the summit racing store i need the following for my 99 sohc
any suggestion would help

cold air intake-
exaust systems-
brush guards-
and shackles-

cold air intake- Get KKM. Not a true cold air intake but this is all you need, performance wise. I don't believe Summit carries this.

exaust systems- Get 40 or 50 delta series Flowmaster and get it installed at the shop with custom exhaust pipes.

brush guards- Get Manik brush guards. Again, I don't believe they carry that there but its the best guards out there with reasonable price. Check the for sale forum, Hokie has one for sale now.

and shackles- No comment.

Get a K&N intake. The cone is about twice as big as the KKM cone.

for brush guard i like my Go Rhino 3000. It funcionally good and looks great. We use them on our Police trucks in my town. Heres a pic of mine.

Shackles go with Warrior. Part Number WAR-153.

Mac Intake From Explorer Express!

I would recommend the Mac Intake we carry at Explorer Express. The air filter is the same size as the K & N. The H.P. gains are the same as the KKM or K & N. It is a better value over the K & N.

would the price difference at explorer express be worth it since i dont have to pay shipping or have to wait. i went in and they wanted $250 for a k&n cold air intake is that kinda expensive (sorry I just got my X a month ago.)

KKM is a cheaper version of K&N. K&N is carb certified so they feel it gives them the right to charge ridiculous amounts.

The Mac Intake #3606 is only $134.95 at Explorer Express. The shipping would be about $8.00. The Mac is also smog legal and comes with appropriate sticker.

The Mac Intake in the picture is shown with the Pro-M 75mm Mass Air Sensor ($244.95).

not to change the subject, but i was wondering....John V., is the explorerexpress website goin to be updated soon? its my b-day tomorrow, and well, theres some things in the catolog that isnt on the site, and its a lot easier to order online. just curious. and can i be looking forward to some 18" cobra replicas for the 1st gen? hehe, thanks man
