The V6 SOHC X-Charger is getting close. We are down to the final tuning stages. We have a vehicle with Brian at Apten right now. The kit will include a fuel injector & fuel pump upgrade. There will be an optional computer chip available from Explorer Express. We are taking orders right now. The non-CARB approved kits will be available soon. The CARB approved kits will follow. whats the difference in the non carb approved kit
 






A sticker that has the C.A.R.B. approval number on it! The kit is exactly the same. Our supercharger is designed to work with all of the factory smog parts such as e.g.r. etc. We just have to jump through all the hoops to make it smog legal in California. It is just a bunch of paperwork and hassle so it can be legal in Ca. Now problem for us, it will just take a little bit longer.
 






when will you make a intercooled one. also what injectors are you sending with you kits.
 






The kit will include 24lb injectors on the early vehicles & 30lb injectors on the later vehilces. There will be no intercooled version of this kit. There is not enough room in the engine compartment for it. The complexity would also add to the price. With 6 psi of boost the charged temperature is not a problem. We have relocated the IAT Sensor . This kit utilizes the most modern Eaton M62 fourth generation blower. It has an internal bypass valve that helps eliminate parasitic drag. Our goal for the V6 SOHC kit is the same as the V8 5.0 kit, to offer a rational kit that will be appropriate for a stock engine and trans. It will be reliable and have great longevity. It will still offer great low end boost and will pull strong right to the redline.
 






you should do a special one with more boost using a autorotor blower that is more effeicant for those who may want something even nicer with a little more power.
